Review: Stronic Drei Pulsator 19

First Impressions
When the Stronic Drei arrived on my doorstep courtesy of GoodVibrations.Com I was blown away first and foremost by the quality of the packaging. The packaging itself just said luxury to me and that is always a good sign as far as I’m concerned. While the packaging is not flashy, it doesn’t have to be to say quality. The Stronic itself comes with a magnetic USB charger and is one of three toys from Fun Factory, that make up part of a new family of vibrators, that are not actually vibrators, but are known as pulsators.  Pulsators are a new technology and rather than vibrations produce a pulsating, or thrusting movement.

As I reached in and picked up my new blue toy I was struck by how heavy it felt compared to other vibes in my collection. This felt like solid construction as you picked it up and I found that reassuring as this is not a cheap toy. In fact it is one of the more expensive toys out there, coming in at around $200, and for that price, my thought process went something along the lines of it had better deliver what it promises, period.

One thing that I do want to point out here is the warning that is plastered all over the toy, packaging and instructions. If you or your partner wear a pacemaker, please do NOT use the Stronic Drei. This new technology, works via a couple of powerful magnets, and they will interfere with a pacemakers operation, and you will not get the effect you desire. Last I checked with my Doctor, my heart was in good health, and so I was confident to go exploring…

As I said previously this is not a light weight toy, and feels quality when it is held. It’s made of a high quality silicone and is phallic shaped, but with a few refinements. It has a slight curve to it’s tip and a slight bend in the middle that if you are familiar with g-spot shaped toys, at first appearance seemed to make this an ideal shape to hit that spot for most women. The Stronic Drei is actually 91/2 “ in length and that includes the control panel. It has a flared base, so can be used for anal play, although for me I was thinking at this point it might be a little big for me to try anally. Only around 5” of the silicone toy is insertable and that is more than enough for most women, myself included. This is not a small toy to insert either, it’s tip is around 1” wide, whilst at it’s very end is just over 2” and that’s quite a lot of toy.

The Stroni Drei also features some pretty deep ridges that run down it’s entire length and these intrigued me for some reason. I could see the potential they possessed for pleasure but could not help but wonder if they might not be a little painful. The controls of the Stronic Drei could not have been easier to operate and consist of three simple buttons that are located at the bottom panel of the toy. I love the fact that this are slightly raised as sometimes it can be difficult to locate the button that you want, when you want it, when a toy is inserted. These buttons also light up which was another big plus for me.

Charging the Stronic Drei could not be easier to be honest. It comes complete with a magnetic USB charger that simply clicks into place at the bottom of the Stronic. Plug the USB end into either a laptop or mains adapter and away it goes. My Stronic came with a full charge and a full charge is supposed to give you three hours of play time. I have had my Stronic for around three weeks now and have played with it almost daily and that claim has more than held up, I’m glad to report.

One feature that I really do like with the Stronic is that it has a travel lock that is simple enough to operate and is clearly labelled in the user manual which accompanies the Stronic. Now enough of the talk, let’s get down to the nitty, gritty of this review and see what happened when I put the Stronic Drei through some exhaustive testing, shall we?

Solo Test:
First things first. As the Stronic is designed to be inserted, I strongly suggest you purchase a good lubricant as this can make any insertable experience so much more enjoyable. I have a preference for a product called SpunkLube Pink at the moment and that was my weapon of choice. As the Stronic is a silicone toy, choosing the right lube is important to prevent possible damage to both yourself and a toy itself.

I spent sometime warming up before I gave this a try, as I had already played around with the various controls before and had never experienced anything quite like it before. Rather than vibrations the Stronic family is designed to pulsate, and for me it seemed as though it was more of a thrusting movement. Anyway, I set about playing with my new toy, because well, toys are designed to be played with, right…

So after some warming up I began by inserting the Stronic and as I expected, it filled me up, but not uncomfortably so, but the real fun was yet to come as I soon found out with the simple press of a button. Holy Mother of Whatever, I am having trouble describing the sensation as I pressed that button, but you can bet it was good! I’m not sure what I was expecting, but what I got was incredible and like no sensation any other vibrator, had ever given me before. I actually found myself breathless at this point, and panting for more sensations. Sensations was what the Stronic Drei delivered as I cycled through the various pulses, strengths and pulses that this toy can deliver and I mean deliver.

Rather than vibrate this toy definitely pulsates and in some cases appears to thrust forward, but not with a force that makes the sensations uncomfortable. It wasn’t long before I achieved my first orgasm of the session, and this was went things got slightly strange for me. Generally after an orgasm, I need a break because I’m sensitive. With the Stronic I was able to sail from one orgasm, into another, and then another…. I was amazed at how many orgasms I was able to achieve with this toy and I more than that the fact that I found myself still wanting more. It wasn’t that they weren’t great orgasms because they were, it was just they were not clitoral orgasms and so I was not left with my usual sensitivity, and these were deep orgasms that radiated throughout my body. Needless to say, I was pleased with my first try and if the truth be told I was also exhausted!

I forgot to mention that the Stronic is also waterproof, which makes this one versatile devil in my book. So next time I played I decided to try it in the bath tub, after all it’s my job to test it thoroughly. I’m pleased to say the results were the same and the Stronic Drei was not harmed at all. At this point I would have been mad if it had been. If you’ve not already guessed this was fast becoming my go to toy, when I felt the need for some personal release. Over the following three weeks I put the Stronic Drei through it’s paces and then some.

What’s It Add Up To?
I swear the Stronic Drei calls my name every time I am about to go to bed! Yes, it really is that good. It takes a lot to impress me nowadays when it comes to sex toys, but the Stronic Drei did just that. Yes, this is an expensive toy, and it does require some experimentation to find out what works best for you, but this toy delivers as promised and then some.

The Stronic Drei, has all the elements I look for in a so called luxury toy. It’s waterproof, durable, delivers different sensations, easy to operate, and is made of high quality body safe materials. If I had only one wish it would be that it came with some form of storage, either a bag or a plastic box of some kind would be good. I say that because this toy doesn’t not pass the cat hair test and picks them up fairly quickly if left out on the side for any length of time. Of course the fact cleaning a fully waterproof toy is easy negates that to some degree but still at this price line it would have been a nice touch.

In summary, if you are looking for a high quality toy, that will give you sensations like no other toy, this might be the one toy you want to invest in!!! I’m not letting this one out of my breathless sight anytime soon….
