I’ve always been a fan of the bullet vibe, partly because it was the first vibe I ever owned and partly because for me they have always worked well. When I came across the Calypso2 it just screamed at me to try it. I fell in love with both the shape and design and the fact that it was made from one of my favorite sex toy materials: silicone was a definite bonus as well.

This comes in a very tasteful box once you get past the priority mail box that Eden sends their toys in. So I quickly placed the 2AAA vibes inside their housing and set to work on taking this beauty for it’s first test drive.
This vibe is very easy to learn to use. It features seven different vibrations that range from a simple buzz vibration to a pulsating buzz, so there is something for everyone. I loved the controls of the Calypso and the fact that I didn’t need a degree to figure them out. Add in the fact that the controller lights up in the dark and you are onto a winner in my book.
So I took my water based lube and got ready for what I hoped would be a good session of self pleasure. It wasn’t long before I remembered why I love silicone as much as I do. The smooth material warmed to my body temperature really quickly and the feeling of it gliding across my clit was like heaven. I love the size and shape of this bullet, because it isn’t the traditional egg shape it brought something more to the table. As long as you ensure the battery housing is closed you should have no problems using water with this vibe. I have taken it into the shower and the tub and had it fully submerged, the controller I discovered likes to float while you play with your new found boyfriend. As a busy lady, sometimes I like to get away and the shower or tub is the perfect place for me to hide and play. I actually keep the Calypso2 in the bathroom nowadays, tucked away in a makeup bag another plus with it being only 3″ in length.
When it comes to partner play the Calypso scores again mainly because of it’s size. We found it easy to place where we wanted it for maximum effect and it didn’t get in the way.
The Calypso2 is easy to clean and for me has proved to be a great addition to my ever growing toy chest. If you are looking for a good all round toy that won’t break the bank this is one you will probably find yourself coming back to visit again and again. I know I do!
